Our Journey to looking for a plumber


It was a another weekday evening where we were home after a day's work. As per usual, it was shower and dinner before heading to our favourite couch to watch some TV. While taking a show, probably with too much forced used on the tape, the water doesn't seem like it could be turned off. Looking a the running water, the first thought that came to my mind was to get immediate help.

After shower, i went outside of my house to turn off the main water switch to avoid further waste of water before heading in to look for the next nearest valve that connects to the tape to turn it off. This was important as it isolates the spoilt tape from further wasting of water while at the same time, not causing a problem to the rest of the family who need access to water.

I went google to search for "plumbers in Singapore" and immediately showed a few results. Without much thought, i called a first few listing to get help but was rejected as they did not have the manpower to provide the necessary support for that day. Most wanted to arrange coming over the next day which i was reluctant. I finally found this company, singaporeplumbing24hrs.com.sg , michael.

Michael was a nice guy and over the phone, he immediately was able to identify my problem and gave me immediate solution to stop any further waste of water from the spoilt tape. He told me that he will be able to reach my place within 90 minutes. Expected charges was shared with me over the phone which i personally find is a great practice. (i hate to be rip and that would be the last thing that i expected in such dire situation)

Michael came within 60 minutes and started looking at the source of the problem. He brought along a tape choices and allowed me to choose from his equipment. Prices was as per discussed over the phone which i find was a value added service. He took his tools and started replacing the spoilt tape. Within 40 minutes, the job was completed.

$50 Labour

I was very satisfied with the service michael provided and would not hesitate to recommended him to my friends and family members
